When you book a recording session and/or video shoot with Music Legacy Recording Studios, you're entering a contract agreeing on behalf of the artist/band to follow the studio’s terms and conditions outlined below.
Booking a Session/Video Shoot:
- Session times are based on availability and require approval from a Music Legacy Recording Studios team member.
- The studio reserves the right to refuse or reschedule confirmed bookings.
- Bookings can be made through MusicLegacyRecordingStudios.com, phone, or email and are only valid once confirmed and paid for.
Payment:
- Cash or credit/debit card are accepted.
- The artist is responsible for paying the full session cost either in advance or at least 48 hours before recording and 7 days before a music video shoot.
- No refunds for no-call/no-shows with paid deposits.
- Failure to pay in full may result in withheld session time and materials until cleared funds are received.
- Payment must cover the full booked time; partial payments may be required for sessions longer than 8 hours.
- Session files are deleted 90 days after completion or for non-payment.
Cancellations:
- 24-hour notice required for cancellations, including weekends and holidays.
- Late cancellations require full payment for future bookings.
- No refunds for no-call/no-shows with paid deposits.
- Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled.
Late Arrivals:
- Arrivals more than 45 minutes late will be cancelled and billed for the booked time.
- Late arrivals will still be charged for the full duration.
Equipment Damage:
- Artists are responsible for damage caused by misuse; refusal to pay may result in exclusion and prosecution.
- Report any damaged or missing equipment immediately.
Personal Belongings:
- Do not leave personal items unattended; the studio is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Guest Policy:
- Maximum of 2 guests allowed; additional guests require 24-hour notice and approval.
- Disruptive guests may be asked to leave, and sessions may be cancelled without refund.
Smoking/Drugs:
- No smoking inside the studio; dispose of cigarette stubs safely outside.
- Keep entry doors closed and locked; any resulting theft or damage is the artist's responsibility.
- No drugs allowed on the premises.
Food/Drink:
- Food and drink are allowed but must be kept away from equipment.
- Damage caused by negligence will be charged accordingly.
- Dispose of rubbish in provided bins.
Fees:
- $20 non-refundable clean-up fee for sessions requiring excessive cleaning.
- $20 per additional guest beyond the allowed limit of 2.
Recording Tips:
- Arrive on time and prepared.
- Bring your instrumental or download link.
- Bring a hard drive or flash drive to save your files.
If you can't agree to these terms, please refrain from booking a Recording or Music Video Session.
